Future-ready solutions: Delivering EV infrastructure in new developments
As the push for sustainability continues to grow, the need for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging infrastructure has become a key component in our mission to help reduce carbon emissions and support the transition to renewable energy. With the rise of electric vehicles, providing accessible charging solutions is essential for promoting green transport and helping our customers meet their own sustainability commitments.
In line with this, ESR has integrated EV charging across its development sites, allocating 10% of parking spaces for electric vehicles and to date has installed over 50 chargers. At our Horsley site office and café, we offer a solar-powered EV charging station, generating an average of 450 kWh per month—equivalent to 3,000 kilometres of drive time for customers.
We have also introduced EV truck charging facilities at our sites like in Cherry Lane, VIC, and launched an electric truck battery-swapping station at Moorebank Intermodal Precinct, NSW. These advanced technologies have been introduced to meet the evolving needs of customers in the heavy vehicle transport sector.
By integrating EV infrastructure across our developments, we aim to further support green transport and reduce carbon emissions.
