SPAR hits new heights with a purpose-built distribution facility

SPAR Australia supplies grocery products, marketing, and retail support services to over 300 independent retail supermarkets, with most of its network residing in Queensland. The company was looking for a modern, new space and a tailored fit-out to increase warehouse efficiency, improve the management system workflow and make technological improvements.

Taking a customer-first approach, ESR worked collaboratively with SPAR on their brand new 13,400sqm purpose-built distribution centre at ESR's Acacia Ridge Business Park. By downsizing floor space and increasing height to bring cold storage and freezers in-house, they’re able to stock more goods and accelerate processes while reducing their environmental footprint

SPAR’s motto is better together, so the better the warehouse is doing, the better the retailers do. With the new, custom-built facility, SPAR is realising significant time and cost savings, which flow onto retailers, customers and the community.
