Phil Pearce

Phil has over 20 years of development and investment management experience in the real estate sector throughout the Asia Pacific region.

As the CEO of ESR in Australia, Phil is responsible for the execution of strategy, governance, management of wholesale capital relationships and the delivery of financial and operational performance across the business.

Phil established the ESR business in Australia through the acquisition of Commercial and Industrial Property (CIP) in July 2017 and Propertylink Group in May 2019. Through combining CIP’s proven development expertise with Propertylink’s leading asset and investment management capability, Phil has established a strong industrial and logistics real estate platform in the Australian market.

Formerly he was an Executive Director and the Managing Director, Greater China for Goodman Group where he was responsible for US$5 billion of assets across Hong Kong and China, having established Goodman’s business in the China market.

Prior to Goodman, Phil held various roles at AMP Capital across valuation, asset management and funds management. He was a sitting member on the Board of Goodman Group from 2013 to 2016.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Land Economy from Western Sydney University and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Singapore listed ESR REIT.
